‘Tis the season for keen dog enthusiasts to get ready to watch the Puppy Bowl 2024. With over 131 dogs from various animal shelters across the US taking part, fans will be wondering where to watch the event and where to buy tickets, if available.
Where to watch Puppy Bowl 2024
The three-hour-long match-up will air on various TV channels and streaming sites, among them Animal Planet, Max, Discovery, fuboTV, Discovery+, TruTV, and TBS. It is scheduled to kick off at 2 PM EST.
Viewers tuning in will be witnessing the event’s 20th anniversary. The organizers hope to achieve a much higher adoption rate for all the heartwarmingly playful dogs participating in the event. To celebrate its remarkable decades-long journey, a new, special group will be unveiled: the Puppy Bowl Hall of Fame.
Four notable pups from past events—who delivered outstanding performances — will be inducted into this distinguished group. According to USA Today, one of these dogs is Bubba, who participated in 2015’s Puppy Bowl.
“When you go back and look into our old-timers, they’re fully grown adults and sometimes senior dogs,” Dan Schachner, the Puppy Bowl XX referee, told the news outlet.
Interestingly, some dogs will have non-player roles, such as assistant referees. So, expect to see lots of puppy penalties courtesy of first-time doggy refs, but most importantly, the cutest pups having the time of their lives.
How to get Puppy Bowl 2024 tickets
Unfortunately, there are no tickets for this particular Animal Planet Puppy Bowl 2024 event since it’s already been prerecorded for broadcast on the scheduled date.
Thankfully, the Austin Humane Society (AHS) will be holding its Annual Puppy Bowl Live event on Feb. 10, starting from 11 p.m. EST. Although entry is free, one can purchase a VIP pass, which comes with a couple of perks.
All proceeds from this event will be channeled to needy animals. To register or purchase a ticket for the AHS Puppy Bowl live experience, head to this link.
