American Bull-Jack Shepherd Breed Pictures, Characteristics, and Facts

The American Bull-Jack is a mixed breed, so they don’t have history as their own breed. Both parent breeds, however, are well known and loved. 

The Jack Russell Terrier, formerly known as the Parson Russell Terrier, was developed in England. The breed was used for foxhunting, then diversified for other tasks like ratting. The breed’s intelligence and drive has remained in the dogs of today, which are willing to learn just about anything. The American Bulldog was once used as a bull-baiting dog, but progressed to primarily being used for farm work. Their drive and loyalty remains today, and they are happy performing a ‘job’ or task for their dog parents. Both of these breeds are respected for their loyalty, independent natures, and willingness to follow commands — with proper training.
