The American Bull Dane, like most breeds, needs daily exercise to feel content. While playful, a lot of this stimulation can be mental, with routine physical exercise. Ideally, this breed should receive at least a 45 minute walk daily. Additionally, they enjoy indoor or outdoor play like fetch or tug-of-war. They may grow winded quickly, so short sessions are ideal. This breed shouldn’t be kept as an apartment dog. Apart from being unfortunately listed as a banned breed in many areas, their size and bouts of energy makes them unsuitable. While not necessary, this breed definitely enjoys a fenced-in yard to romp in.
